IQ Communications

The IQ Consortium recognizes that to be effective in advancing science and regulation, IQ must share its work – including survey results, white papers, conference proceedings, and other materials - with the broader scientific and regulatory communities. The mission of the IQ Communications Committee (IQCC) is to promote and progress, through timely and effective communication, the IQ Consortium’s efforts to advance science and scientifically-driven standards and regulations for pharmaceutical and biotechnology products worldwide.

Promoting strong connectivity within IQ as well as engaging prospective members and facilitating exchange with the broader scientific and regulatory community are IQCC’s core objectives (view the IQCC Strategy). The IQCC employs several tools as means to these ends.

IQ Consortium Website

The IQ website is an up-to-date source for information about IQ news and events. IQ publications, regulatory submissions, and presentations are publicly available in the publications directory, and additional resources including a member directory and group forums are available to members through the website.

LinkedIn

IQ’s LinkedIn Group provides another platform for promoting achievements and events, such as publications and presentations. The group also features information about major events such as IQ symposia. Membership is open to current or past members of the Board, Leadership Groups, and Working Groups. Click here for the IQ LinkedIn Group.

Webinar Program

IQ sponsors a webinar program to educate member companies about important issues in drug development. Webinars are presented by IQ Working Groups. Past topics have included “Preclinical Approaches to Suicidal Behavior,” “Current Industry Practices in the in vivo Assessment of Human Drug Metabolism,” and “Radiosynthesis”, among others. Webinars are open to all IQ participants and interested individuals from member companies. Periodically, attendance may be expanded to the public. Information about upcoming webinars is available in the events section of the IQ website.

Conferences, Symposia, and Workshops

IQ organizes a variety of conferences, symposia, and workshops each year. Many of these are open to IQ member companies at large (including individuals that do not participate in IQ), and some are open to the public. More information is available in the events section of the website.
