The pharmaceutical industry must evolve toward sustainability to balance the social, environmental and economic needs of our society across generations. Green Chemistry represents a proven approach that empowers scientists in developing highly efficient, lower costing, greener and more sustainable processes.

There are limited opportunities to augment Green Chemistry competencies; therefore a new training course has been developed by the IQ Consortium and Scientific Update that will highlight key aspects of Green Chemistry enabling scientists to deliver greater sustainability during pharmaceutical research, development and manufacturing.  Attendance will provide unique insight and direction for scientists as well as students seeking to adapt to new expectations for more efficient and sustainable science. The instructors of the course are subject matter experts from the IQ Green Chemistry working group with significant expertise and experience in the field of Green Chemistry and sustainability within the Pharmaceutical Industry.
