Speaker Profiles:

Smita Salunke

Smita has extensive (12 yrs) experience in product development of oral solid and liquid dosage forms, project management, product and services management. Her main interest lies in applying the gained research experience in scoping the challenges and solutions in development of pediatric formulations. She is creator of the STEP database developed in collaboration with the US PFI. Over 6 years, she has been facilitating and providing strategic direction to the EuPFI consortium in identification & prioritization of unmet global needs and solutions in pediatric medicines.

David Clapham

David has over 40 years product development experience covering a range of dosage forms and an interest in all aspects of the presentation of medicines including smell, taste, palatability, color and overall acceptability. Having recently retired from one of the major pharmaceutical companies David is now an independent pharmaceutical consultant.
