IQ Webinar Series: IQ Database Framework

If your Working Group or Leadership Group is planning to conduct a data sharing project within IQ, it is highly recommended that you attend this webinar in order to be up to date on the current database capabilities available to IQ members and process to create a database. 

During this webinar, the Secretariat and OSTHUS will present the IQ Database Framework.  The following general topics will be covered:

• Introduction to the database framework concept:  an overview of the IQ data sharing agreement and an overview of the database technology used by IQ;
• Procedure for establishing a new database: creation of a new database takes time and planning.  A summary of the process used within IQ for a Working Group to  create a new database; and
• Live demonstration of the database technology:  IQ’s database developer OSTHUS will give a demonstration of the “Scientific Data Framework”, the database platform developed jointly between OSTHUS and IQ to deliver database capabilities to IQ.
