IQ 3Rs Leadership Group continues effort to modernize animal studies for improved clinical translata

In 2016, the 3Rs LG recognized lack of clinical translatability for animal studies to be a significant 3Rs gap.  In 2017 and beyond, the 3Rs LG will be developing a strategy to modernize animal studies for improved clinical translatability through targeted capability development. The 3Rs Leadership Group is currently exploring this through benchmarking conventional and novel endpoints and intends to conduct literature searches to determine the applicability of novel endpoints to the clinic.
