IQ Patient Centric Sampling Working Group Co-sponsoring Symposium at 2021 AACP Virtual Meeting

The IQ Consortium's Patient Centric Sampling Working Group is co-sponsoring a symposium at next week's 2021 AACP Virtual Annual Meeting. The symposium will address "Patient-centric Sampling Opportunities & Challenges for Implementation in Drug Development Programs" and will be jointly sponsored by the AACP and the IQ Consortium.
This Symposium will be useful for an interdisciplinary audience, including all members of the drug development and clinical research community, including MD principal investigators in academia and PharmDs and PhDs clinical pharmacology, bioanalytical, clinical operations, and clinical development members in industry, as well as members who work in regulatory agencies.
Following the symposium, session attendees will be able to:
- Describe the various patient-centric sampling (PCS) technologies available and the value proposition of implementing PCS into a drug development program;
- Identify challenges and organize scientific, operational, and regulatory requirements for implementing PCS in a drug development program;
- Identify other real-world examples of drug development programs that have successfully implemented PCS and the benefits of doing so to the program.
